What Information Does Glamour World Collect? Glamour World collects two types of information: (1) “Communication Information,” which is personally identifying information you voluntarily provide, such as account information, contact information, emails or letters; and (2) “Visitor Information,” which is information that is automatically collected as you visit and browse the Website (collectively, your “Information”).
Communication Information If you communicate directly with Glamour World by phone, email or postal mail, Glamour World may collect, store and use any information it collects for its own business purposes. Additionally, Glamour World may periodically conduct surveys, usability studies and other programs that help Glamour World improve and promote its products and services. Visitors to the Website may voluntarily participate in these programs and, as a condition of such participation, they may be asked to provide additional information, which shall be deemed Communication Information.
Glamour World may use this “Communication Information” to respond to your requests, issues or inquiries or to improve the Website, Glamour World services or product offerings. Communication Information may also be used to distribute information to you about Glamour World, its products or other promotional or information communications from Glamour World or Glamour World business partners.
Visitor Information Glamour World’s website server automatically records “Visitor Information,” based on your activity on the Website, through the use of “IP addresses” (as described below) or “Cookies” (as described below) or other industry-standard techniques, such as domain names or web beacons.
Glamour World may use Visitor Information, including user behaviour, user experience, user equipment and the computing and Internet environment, to improve the performance of the Website. An IP address is a number automatically assigned to a computer when a user uses the Internet and is often associated with the place from which the user enters the Internet such as the Internet service provider. Standing alone, an IP address is not necessarily personally identifiable.
Updating Information Please notify us of changes to any of your communication information, including name, address, title, phone number or email address by sending an email to email@example.com
Opting-Out We maintain lists of users and use the Information on those lists to contact you or send you the information you have requested or that we feel will be of interest to you. We may contact you via phone, email, or postal mail. If you wish to opt out of receiving communications from us or to have your Information deleted from our records, you may send a request (“Request”) to [firstname.lastname@example.org]. Within sixty (60) days of a Request, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to discontinue our use of your Information. Please note that it may be impossible to delete all Information without some residual information being retained because of the nature in which backups of data are maintained. Please also note that we may retain changed or deleted information for archival or purposes other than contacting you.
Service Providers Glamour World may use third parties to help with certain aspects of its operations, which may require disclosure of your Information. For example, Glamour World may use a third party to communicate with you, to host the Website and related databases, and to perform other outsourced work. Glamour World requires these third parties to use your Information only as necessary to perform the services they are asked to perform.
